Havora

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 24, 2026 · Applies to Havora v1.0 on iOS and Android

The short version

Your data lives on your device. Havora has no servers for your books. Every invoice, expense, client, time entry, and receipt is stored locally on your phone. We do not collect, sell, share, or fingerprint your data. We have nothing to lose, leak, or hand over.

The one exception is your subscription status, which is processed by Apple or Google and relayed to us through RevenueCat strictly so the app knows whether you have Pro features unlocked. Details below.

What we collect — and don't collect

CategoryCollected?Notes
Name, email, phoneNoOnboarding asks for a first name to personalize greetings — stored on-device only. No email or phone is captured anywhere.
Financial infoNoYour invoices, expenses, bank info (which we never see), client list — all stay on your phone.
Receipt photosNoReceipt images are processed by Apple's on-device Vision OCR. Neither the image nor the recognized text is transmitted off your device.
LocationNoHavora never requests or accesses your location.
Contacts, photos, calendarNoPhoto library access (if granted) is only used to import receipt images you select — nothing else is read.
Usage analyticsNoNo event tracking is enabled in v1.0. No third-party analytics SDK is installed.
Crash diagnosticsNoNo crash reporting SDK is installed in v1.0. Crashes are visible only to you via the in-app error log (Settings → View error log).
Advertising identifiersNoHavora shows no ads and does not request the Apple IDFA or Google AAID.
Anonymous subscription identifierYesRevenueCat receives a random anonymous ID per install and your subscription tier (monthly / annual / none) so the app can unlock Pro features. Never linked to your name, email, or any personal data.
Purchase receiptYesApple App Store and Google Play receive payment from you and send a receipt to RevenueCat. We receive only the entitlement status. We never see your payment method, billing address, or other financial details.

On-device AI

"Ask Havora" free-form answers, when available, use Apple's Foundation Models framework (iOS 26+, Apple Intelligence enabled). Per Apple's developer documentation, the on-device model variant does not transmit prompts off the device. When the device or OS doesn't support on-device AI, free-form questions fall back to a deterministic template router that operates entirely on data already on your device.

Receipt scanning uses Apple's Vision framework (VNRecognizeTextRequest), which is fully on-device. The recognized text is stored locally as part of the expense record; no copy is transmitted.

Third-party services

Havora uses one third-party service:

Havora does not use any analytics, ad networks, A/B testing tools, crash reporters, or marketing attribution SDKs in v1.0.

Your rights

Children

Havora is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add a feature that changes what data is collected — for example, turning on analytics or crash reporting — we will update this page, update the App Store and Google Play privacy disclosures, and update the in-app Privacy screen in the same release. The most recent revision date is shown at the top of this page.
